Thoughts=Destiny

Hello everyone...

I was wondering if anyone out there is struggling with a situation that they feel they cannot get out of? Do you feel like the walls are closing in like an Indiana Jones movie?

I felt that way for very much of my childhood/young adult life. I was in the situation of someone else's issues. I learned that we cannot take on the world's issues and we cannot let our issues take over us. Nowadays being angry, depressed, and confused is a muse to songs, art and even clothing lines. It's a dangerous trend that i do not wish to follow. when I was younger I suffered with an eating disorder, bad acne and none of my peers wanted to be around me. Back then; I didn't have the creative outlets that I have now. We are taught that if we speak out against things that hurt us, we are being "defiant, disobediant, stubborn, hard-headed, difficult", and a bunch of other SAT words.

Since when it is ever a bad thing to be happy? Why is it such a crime to claim the joy that was promised to us by the Creator? Why should we give power to another flesh and blood human being that has to answer to the same Creator at the apocalypse? Why should we live our lives dictated by someone else's misery? Why do we try so hard to adapt to please someone else while we suffer inside....it's bullcrap folks!

We need to not let our horrible situations make us a victim. If we think that we are a victim of one situation, we will be victimized by ALL situations...you know how they say "mind over matter" You Matter! You have a purpose! We are all made differently and think differently to carry out different things...we should not try to break our necks to follow someone else because we will never be happy with ourselves. People put us down and mock us because we pose as a threat...take it as a compliment and by all means do not stop....

We have to be happy in our mind, spirit, and body..all those things work together for good. When a situation that is less than pleasing arises, instead of wallowing in it...walk through it...there is always a rainbow after the storm. Remember Noah's ark ?

Think of the song "I Hope You Dance"...will you sit it out or dance?

I hope you dance!

Don't worry; be happy!
